Overview
Nasogastric tube insertion is a procedure performed to provide nutrition and
medicines directly to patients through a thin tube placed in the nasal cavity to the
stomach when they are unable to swallow due to medical reasons. This essential
skill requires precision and practice to avoid errors and complications. The aim of
this module is to prepare nurses with necessary knowledge and skills to provide
care for clients requiring NG tube feeding
