Overview

Nurses are required to make timely and safe decisions about patient care in acute
situations. Clinical judgment and decision-making skills are essential in identifying
early clinical deterioration and prompt intervention. This module will enable
participants to refine practice in relation to the recognition, response and escalation
of care of the acutely unwell client.
