Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Overview

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) comprises of a series of protocols that
allows health care professionals to recognize and manage pediatric patients in
respiratory emergencies, shock and cardiopulmonary arrest. The aim of PALS is to
enable the learners to utilize global best practices and apply team dynamics in
managing and achieving the best possible outcome for pediatric clients who are
experiencing life-threatening emergencies.
