Interprofessional Communication

Overview

Interprofessional communication is a process of promoting and maintaining effective
working relationships with learners, practitioners, patients, families and communities
to enable optimal health outcomes. Interprofessional collaboration is crucial in
healthcare settings to explore the experience of interprofessional communication
among nurses. The aim of this workshop is to train nurses in understanding how to
communicate with other health professionals in a respectful and responsible manner
to promote a patient-centered approach in healthcare.
